Company Position: Safety & Compliance Team Leader

Reports To:​ Group Safety and Compliance Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

 

Role Overview:

Aircamo Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Safety & Compliance team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in aviation compliance and safety. The Compliance and Safety Officer will support the Group Safety and Compliance Manager in maintaining regulatory approvals and promoting a strong safety culture across our operations.

This role covers support for our UK, EASA, and FAA Part 145 maintenance approvals, UK and EASA Part CAMO approvals, and CAMO oversight for aircraft registered under Cayman Islands, Bermuda, and 2-REG.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day compliance and safety activities under the guidance of the Group Safety and Compliance Manager.
• Help maintain documentation and records related to regulatory approvals and audits.
• Assist in the coordination of the application and approval process for individual personal maintenance authorizations. Ensure that all personnel have the necessary qualifications and licenses to perform their job duties safely.
• Maintain accurate records of personnel qualifications, licenses, and authorizations. Keep a detailed database of renewal dates and provide timely reminders for personnel and management.
• Support the preparation and coordination and performance of l audits and inspections.
• Assist in tracking regulatory changes and updating internal procedures accordingly.
• Participate in safety investigations and reporting processes.
• Help promote safety awareness and compliance across the organization.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure procedures are followed and documented correctly.
• Provide administrative support for compliance and safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A keen interest in aviation safety, compliance, or quality assurance.
• Some exposure to aviation operations, maintenance, or regulatory environments (e.g., through education, internships, or entry-level roles).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Audit experience
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic document management systems.
• Relevant qualifications in aviation, safety, or compliance (or working towards them) are desirable but not essential.
