Company Position: Maintenance Programmes & Reliability Officer

Reports To:​ Accountable Manager

Location: Manchester (UK)

Job Title: Maintenance Programmes & Reliability Officer

1. Functions of the nominated Role:

Ideally have a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Similar qualifications or relevant industry experience may be considered.

An excellent communicator, able to engage effectively with all levels.

Highly numerate and analytical; with a keen interest in data.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work at pace for timely delivery.

Demonstrate recommendations and management of corrective and preventative measures for improved aircraft reliability.

A knowledge of Continued Airworthiness and regulatory requirements.

Develop an in-depth understanding and application of statistical analysis methods to perform root-cause analysis and propose corrective actions

An awareness of Maintenance Planning and Records

Expert in MS Office, in particular, Word and Excel

Knowledge of MSG3 Methodology and Maintenance Program Concepts

Safety focussed

The role:

Review OEM documentation impacting the scheduled maintenance program, including MRBR, MPD, STC, and ICA, and implement changes as required.

Organize and manage the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplish the work process to meet all project deliverables on schedule.

Coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, reliability, and efficiency

Review aircraft maintenance to ensure that the AMP is effective – justifying escalation and de-escalation of maintenance tasks to maximise reliability

Produce monthly reliability reports for assigned aircraft/fleet.
